Printed Matter's LA Art Book Fair 2014 is opening this Thursday evening, January 30th from 6:00 - 9:00 pm and continuing through the weekend:
Friday, January 31, 11 am - 5 pm
Saturday, February 1 and Sunday February 2, 11 am - 6 pm

This year, Printed Matter will have new limited-edition artwork by Laura Owens, Jeremy Deller, Patrick Lee and Parra to benefit the Book Fair, ensuring that it remains a free event.

I first became familiar with Laura's artwork at the Drawing Now: Eight Propositions exhibit at the New York MOMA. What a difference her work was then. No less amazing, just different. On Laura's site, is a visual catalog of her work. It's interesting to see the progression.
